Arriving at jaipur in morning than transfer to Shekhawati Area. Shekhawati means ’the land of Shikha’s clan’ and was derived from Rao Shekha of Kachhwaha family of Jaipur in the 15th century. The region extends over the districts of Jhunjhunu and Sikar.  It is located in North Rajasthan include of four districts. It is renowned for the grand Havelis built by the marvari merchants, who steeped in wealth and flourishing. Build graceful building equipped with breath taking wall painting. Tour Description


Rani Sati Temple – Situated in northeast corner of the town, multi storied rani sati temple reminisce an act of sati, by a merchant’s wife in 1595. It depicts the hugely Disputable social rite which used to be followed in the Indian society for long.



Char Chowk Haveli – The haweli legendary for its epic painting of a bird standing on an elephant and other elephant on its pecker is a must for the primitive architecture lovers. With large paintings on the facade of the northern haweli, it is truly a marvel in terms of capturing art.



Dundlord Fort - Built and modified over 200 years ago, it showcases a blend of Rajput and Mughal art and architecture. It contains a mix of European and Rajput ornamental elements.



Khedwal Bhavan – Located west of the Baori Gate, it is still inhabited. It features beautiful mirror work above the penetration to the inner bailey and fine blue tiles.



Modi Haveli – The Modi Havelis face each other and house some of the best Jhunjhunu’s best wall painting and woodcarvings. The spaces between the brackets depict the Krishna legends. Epic paintings include the one of a woman in blue sari sitting before a gramophone.
