Kumbhalgarh is legendary for the Kumbhalgarh Fort which was built and designed by Maharana Kumbha in the 15th century AD and is the second principal fort after Chittorgarh. Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is a major affinity for the tourists coming to Udaipur. This Sanctuary falls under the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. Kumbhalgarh Park lies at a distance of 65 Kms from Udaipur on Udaipur - Pali - Jodhpur road. If you are a wildlife lover, this is a perfect place for you to visit. Sprawled in an area of 578 sq km, Kumbhalgarh Sanctuary encircles the massive fort of Kumbhalgarh. This wildlife park has imbibed its name from the same fort. It is home to some of the exotic species of animals as well as birds. Tour Description:
Day 1: Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh
Upon arrival in Kumbhalgarh you would be ardently welcomed by our representatives. Get transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon had out to visit the famous Kumbhalgarh Fort – one of the most beautiful forts in Rajasthan and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Rana Kumbha got the Kumbhalgarh fort constructed in the 15th century. One of the few forts in Rajasthan that have remained unconquered. Kumbhalgarh was also the birthplace of Maharana Pratap, Mewar's legendary king. The attractions of the fort include a number of charming palaces and a phalanx of temples inside it. The fort is enclosed by a thick wall, running up to 36 km and offers a spectacular view of the surroundings. Get back to the hotel in the evening and enjoy cultural performance by local artists over dinner. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Sightseeing
After having breakfast at the hotel and proceed for full day sightseeing. You would be visiting the famous Haldi Ghati – famous for the epic battle, Ranakpur Jain Temple – magnificent temple popular for its sophisticated architecture and detailed carvings and Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary. Return to the hotel in the evening and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 3: Back to next journey
At morning having a breakfast at the hotel and then get driven to airport/railway station for journey back home or further journey.
